I have over 25 years of experience in human services -- ranging as a clinician and Associate Clinical Director for an outpatient clinic in Cambridge, a clinician in an elementary school and after-school behavior modification program, Program Coordinator for trans-racially adopted children, and a child-care provider.
My goal is not to help you just cope in this dysfunctional world, but to thrive in it by actively unlearning toxic belief systems that you learned in your childhood.
As a therapist, rather than merely listen and be a sounding board, I am very active in session, challenging belief systems and behavioral patterns that keep you from being whole.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
I completed my Masters Degree at Lesley University in Expressive Arts Therapy. Continuing education, trainings, and my endless curiosity allows me to stay up to date on current research and best practices.
I utilize traditional talk therapy, mindfulness, guided meditation, Somatic Experiencing, and other trauma informed interventions.
